Why does the free freight on orders over $300 not apply to all of Canada?

Some areas of Canada are so remote that the freight companies charge excessive amounts to deliver there. However - if we can send it with Canada Post then all of Canada is covered under the free freight option. Unfortunately Canada Post will not carry dangerous goods eg. gunpowder, primers, ammo or anything else that has gun powder.

Can I pick up my product in person?

We do not have a retail store. Our facility is a manufacturing plant. We would have to shut down our process and lock up the cages and vaults to have visitors or shoppers.

I could not increase my order quantity.

The system won't allow you to buy more than we have in stock. We run into this most often with used brass. We only have what we can sort out of the hundred's of drums annually. Also - we don't keep a list of customers looking for brass.

Can I get on your newsletter list?

We are working on this and hope to have it up and running this summer.

How do you calculate the taxes?

By law the taxes are charged based upon the address of the purchaser. Each province has its own rules - we follow them. The site will calculate the taxes for you after you go to the shopping cart.

How much is freight on an order?

We use a plug and play shipping program with Canada Post and Canpar. The rates are automatically calculated once you enter the shopping cart function. As a reminder - we pay the freight on orders over $300 to most of Canada.

Do you accept EMT?

Yes. All you have to do is place the order online. Once you are in the payment area just put EMT in the areas needing information. Then send me an email - ray@westernmetal.ca or contact@westernmetal.ca . I will contact you with further directions.

Restocking Fee?

If you need to cancel a purchase, after we have charged your credit card, we charge a 5% restocking fee to cover our costs.
